2021年，外国语学院团总支在校团委和院党总支的领导下，以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，以服务青年学生为中心，以构建和谐校园为己任，围绕立德树人的基本原则，扎实开展德育实践活动，取得长足进步。
In 2021, under the leadership of the Youth League Committee in XAAU and General Party Branch of School of Foreign Languages, the General Youth League branch of the School of Foreign Languages, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, serving young students as the center, building a harmonious campus as our own duty, and centering on the basic principles of moral education, has carried out moral education practice activities and made great progress.
一、 完善团学组织机制，打造引领示范
组织建设是团总支工作顺利开展的基本保障。2021年以来，外国语学院团总支不断加强组织建设，建立健全各部门完善各项规章制度，进一步落实和增强了团总支的创造力、凝聚力和战斗力，明确了各部门的职能，各司其职分工合作，定期开展三会两制一课等学习内容，加强学生干部的思想建设、工作方法和能力培养。
Organizational construction is the basis for the work and development of Youth League branch. Since 2021, Youth League branch in School of Foreign Languages has been continuously working on the organizational construction, building a complete system of regulations for all departments, which further enhanced the creativity, cohesion and effectiveness of the branch. It defined functions of each department and specifications of all members, who would be devoted to their works of collaboration and establishment of complete regulations. Regular trainings, meetings, and lessons were held to strengthen the ideological thinking, working method and ability of students.
二、夯实青年政治思想,筑牢信仰根基
共青团是党的助手后备军，实施青年学生的思想引领是外国语学院团总支的首要工作。2021年正值党的百年华诞的历史时刻，外国语学院团总支响应党的号召，积极开展了党史学习活动，让学生学党史、悟思想，提升自身思想修养的同时，我们也积极组织学生观看并学习十九届六中全会精神，习近平总书记来陕考察重要讲话精神，习近平总书记七一讲话精神等，加强对学生的思想引领。此外，我院坚持党建带团建。院党政领导高度重视共青团的工作，定期对团学干部进行培训，注重加强团学干部的思想理论政治素养与综合能力培养。
Since the Chinese Communist Youth League serves as the assistant and reserve force of the Communist Party of China, the School of Foreign Languages is to play a leading role in ideology guidance of youth students.The year of 2021 is a historic moment of the Party's 100th birthday. In response to the Party's call,we have actively carried out activities of learning Party's history, helped students learn and comprehend Party's history so as to improve their own ideological thinking. At the same time,the committee have also organized students to watch and learn a series of spirits.In addition, our school commits to the principle that Party construction drives league construction.The party members and officials of our school have not only organized training for the cadres of the league and the student union, but paid attention to strengthening the ideological and political literacy and comprehensive ability training of them. So we can see that the work of the league was attached great importance.
三、开展多彩青年活动，构建活动阵地
活动组织为青年学生提供了展示自我提升自我的平台，以活动为载体，凝聚了团员青年的向心力。在2021年的暑期社会实践中，我院学生积极参与，深入实践，荣获优秀报告、优秀个人等奖项。在志愿服务中，我院青年不仅走进敬老院看望老人，摆放共享单车，还积极投身于西马、十四运等大型活动。特别是疫情防控期间，党员干部们主动请缨，彰显青年时代担当。
The organization has provided a platform for students to display and improve themselves through various activities, condensing the cohesiveness of League members. Our students positively participated in the summer social practice in 2021,winning the reward of excellent report and the reward of excellent individual and so on. In terms of volunteering, our students not only participated in activities such as visiting nursing homes and positioning shared bikes, but also actively took part in volunteer work for large events such as the Xi'an International Marathon and the 14th National Games. Speaking of volunteering, we have to mention that the cadres of Party members in our school volunteered to help with epidemic prevention and control, highlighting the responsibility of youth.
除此之外，我院结合专业特色，开展专四辅导、四六级考试讲座等工作；在建党一百周年之际，团学干部们用英语传播党史故事，获得广大师生好评。最后，我院学生在校园心理剧大赛中、运动会排舞表演中也获得了不错的成绩。
In addition, combining with the professional characteristics, our college provided TEM-4 tutoring, CET-4 and CET-6 lectures, etc; On the occasion of the general anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China(CPC), League cadres spread the story of party's history in English, which was well received by teachers and students. Finally, our students also achieved good results in the campus psychodrama competition and the dance performance of the sports meeting.
四、关注学生心理动态，共筑抗疫堡垒
2021年年末一场突如其来的疫情，打乱了学生们的学习生活。在隔离期间，外国语学院的老师与各团学干部紧密联系，密切关注学生心理动态，及时安抚学生的情绪，共同组成一道坚固的抗疫屏障。为缓解学生压力，我院举办了“隔离，但不隔离爱”线上跨年晚会，号召学生展示自己的风采，老师和团学干部们也送上了惊喜祝福。同时，学习部也组织策划“疫”起打卡活动，鼓励大家在疫情期间培养兴趣，养成良好的学习习惯。值得注意的是，在此期间，我院学子还自发地书写了一封又一封感谢信，向隔离酒店全体工作人员表达了真诚的谢意，体现了西航精神。
An unexpected COVID-19 epidemic disrupted students' lives and studies around the end of 2021. During the quarantine, the School of Foreign Language's teachers were closely affiliated with student cadres, keeping a close check on students' mental health in order to relieving their pressure in time, forming a powerful anti-pandemic barrier. Our college hosted an online New Year's Eve party of " Love Accompanies Quarantine " to encourage students to showcase their talent in order to ease student stress. Students were also wished well by teachers and student leaders. Meanwhile, the Learning Department devised an activity to motivate students to pursue their passions and develop good study habits. In the spirit of XAAU, students also wrote a letter of gratitude to the hotel's entire staff for their efforts during the quarantine.
青年一代有理想、有本领、有担当，国家就有前途，民族就有希望。 展望未来，外国语学院团总支将紧紧围绕大局，把握大势，引导广大青年凝心聚力再出发，砥砺奋进新征程！
Our country will be full of hope and can look forward to a bright prospect when young generation has ideals, abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility. In the year to come, the General Youth League branch of the School of Foreign Languages, fastening on overall condition and following the general trend, will call on our youth to band together and forge ahead in a promising journey.
